Barone And More In Upcoming MN Summit

Written by Derek Brigham on 13 November 2007.

Corey Miltimore of Dreckless and an organizer of the 2006 Minnesota Academy for Conservative Leadership just sent out an announcement on an upcoming conference sponsored by the Freedom Foundation of Minnesota. I'm sure as these things go, more speakers will be announced as it gets closer to the actual event.

For my money, Michale Barone will be the most important reason to attend. No one knows his districts like Barone. He probably has stats on my household I don't even know.

On Saturday, December 1, the Freedom Foundation of Minnesota is hosting the first annual “State of Minnesota Conservatism” conference at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest hotel in Minnetonka (use this link to register in our block of rooms). This upcoming conference offers an extraordinary and unique opportunity to hear from some of the most influential political leaders in our state and nation.

The purpose of this day-long event is to bring together a diverse group of conservative activists and leaders from throughout Minnesota to hear from nationally renowned conservative and political leaders about the state of conservatism in Minnesota. The conference will examine the past, explain what is currently happening on the ground here in Minnesota, and offer insight as to what can be done for the future.

If you want to know what the Left is up to here in Minnesota – the answer may surprise you – and what you can do to respond effectively, this conference is a must!

Join us to hear from such speakers as:

Governor Tim Pawlenty, one of the nation's most talked about governors and is often described as one of its most successful

Michael Barone, FOX News contributor, author of The Almanac of American Politics, and one of the most sought after political analysts

Tony Fabrizio, nationally acclaimed pollster and managing partner of Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates

Jason Lewis, host of KTLK’s highly rated The Jason Lewis Show

Former Congressman Vin Weber, recognized as one of the most influential conservative intellectuals in Washington, D.C.

Bob Ward, Senior Vice President of Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates

In addition, to these keynote speakers, conference participants will hear from numerous other conservative leaders, elected officials, and political operatives and have the opportunity to interact with them. (Check back often as we continue to update our roster of speakers.)

Continental breakfast, lunch, and a gala dinner are all included with your registration

If you’re a conservative activist, simply wish to learn more, or network with other conservatives from throughout Minnesota, this conference is for you!
