I just got this update on next week's Tax Day Tea Parties. Looks like you will not need to drive far wherever you are in Minnesota as we now have 12 locations, and possibly more coming. Question: will the unified roar of the common freedom-loving man get the modern equivalent of coverage as the shot heard around the world?

Main event to be held at the State Capitol grounds on Wednesday, April 15th from 5-8 pm

Concerned citizens, grassroots organizations and free market activists will band together in protest at the Minnesota State Capitol in Saint Paul.  This Tax Day Tea Party is just one of 12 confirmed tea parties in the state of Minnesota.  There are currently over 500 confirmed Tax Day Tea Parties planned nation wide.

“We felt it was really important to come out from behind our computers and have our voices heard before it was too late.” said Cinn, St. Paul Tea Party Outreach Coordinator “There has been enormous interest in the tea parties here in Minnesota and we are proud to be a part of this movement at a local and national level.” said Cinn.

Other confirmed MN Tea Parties are being held in Austin, Bemidji, Brainerd, Duluth, Fairmont, Mankato, Milaca, North Branch, Rochester, Saint Cloud, and Owatonna.

“After months of trying different things, the tea parties were proving to be the best way to get people involved.” Said Toni “No Bologny” Backdahl, State Coordinator for the National Sponsors. “Rick Santelli (Minnesota native and conservative) added the rocket fuel that thrusted Michael Leahy and his TCOT Action Project team into the first national effort on 2/27/09”
