What's too painful to remember

Let the general election campaigns begin! The Republican Party of MN launched a new TV ad on Dayton's "erratic" record as a U.S. Senator, giving painful reminders of his past:

You can't argue with those memories of Dayton's senate term. We'll be peppered with ads and videos from both sides, and the media will be busy grading each one in their "Truth Tests." After Dayton gave himself an "F" for his Senate performance, there's nowhere to go but up. But Emmer's image also needs a makeover from the last round of fire from AfBM (a Dayton-funded front group), a sadly effective but untruthful ad campaign (some also getting an F). Many Emmer supporters have been frustrated that he hasn't been fighting back. After speaking with him two days ago, he is armed and ready, and his "target" is fixed on Dayton.
